  1. The contest is run by Lean In Malaysia and is open to all Malaysia-based citizens.

  2. The Contest starts on 10th March 2020  and ends at 11.59pm on 15th March 2020.

  3. To participate, the participants will need to:​

    • Share the first image of this post on your Facebook or Instagram profile (make sure your profile is at public setting)

    • Tell us in your post caption “In 10 words, what does 'Each For Equal' mean to you?”

    • Use our unique hashtag #LIMIWD2020 and tag ‘@LeanInMalaysia’ in the post

    • 2 winners will be selected based originality, creativity and relevance

    • Unique & relevant answer with more LIKES will stand for higher chances to WIN!

   4. Top TWO winners will be selected to WIN A Signed Copy each of Sheryl Sanberg’s LEAN IN selected by most likes in the re-shared  post.


  1. The mechanics of the Contest is set out in PART A, ITEM 3.  Participants’ profiles have to be set to public for entries to be considered.

  2. Entries received after the Contest Period will not be considered.

  3. By joining the Contest, participants acknowledge that they have read, understood and agreed to comply with and abide by these Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy.

  4. Proof of submitted entries do not constitute to proof or evidence that the Organiser has received the Contest entry or that the participant has participated in the Contest.

  5. The Organiser shall be entitled to reject or refuse entries for any reason, including but not limited to non-fulfilment of or non-adherence to the Contest terms and procedures as set out in PART A, ITEM 3.

  6. The Organiser reserves the right to disqualify participants who are suspected of cheating, tampering and/or are suspected of being spam and/or fake accounts.


  1. Top TWO winners will be selected from a pool of qualified entries at the end of the contest based on UNIQUE & RELEVANT ANSWERS. Selected winners will be announced on the Lean In Malaysia’s Facebook Page and Instagram Page.

  2. The selected winners will be required to respond to the Organiser’s notification via the Lean In Malaysia’s Instagram Page / Facebook Page PM, or such other period as may be directed by the Organiser, with their full name, NRIC number, mobile number, email address and shipping address.

  3. In the event that the selected winner(s) is/are unable or fails to send in their details to the Organiser within the specified time frame, the Organiser reserves the rights to:

    1. Disqualify the said winner(s) without notice, and

    2. Select other entries that were considered in the final screening process.

  4. For the avoidance of doubt, the Organiser has no obligation to make multiple attempts to contact the selected winners and shall have no liability to the said selected winner(s) in any respect whatsoever.

  5. The Organiser’s decisions are final.


  1. The winners will be entitled to 1 SIGNED COPY OF SHERYL SANDBERG’S LEAN IN BOOK

  2. Winners are to collect their prizes upon arranging the date & time to collect with the organiser. Winners will have to present their Identification Card for verification purposes upon redemption of the prizes. Winners are to redeem their prize personally within the week of the winner announcement from Organiser.

  3. Should the winner(s) fail to redeem their prize, the prizes will be forfeited.

  4. Prizes are not exchangeable for cash.


  1. The Contest will be held during the Contest Period set out in PART A, ITEM 2. The Organiser reserves the right at its sole and absolute discretion, to vary, postpone, or re-schedule the Contest dates or extend the Contest Period, at any time without any liability.

  2. The Organiser reserves the right at its sole and absolute discretion, to change, amend, delete, or add to the Terms and Conditions and other applicable rules and regulations including the mechanism of the Contest as set out in PART A, ITEM 3, at any time and without any liability.

  3. The Organiser will not be liable to the participants and winners in any way in respect of any matter arising under the Contest whether caused by error, negligence (whether in contract or tort) or unintentional wrongful act or conduct on the part of the Organiser or otherwise or from the use or redemption of the prizes.

  4. All participants and the winners shall indemnify the Organiser, its associated companies, against any and all claims for any loss or damages, whether direct, indirect, consequential or otherwise, arising from any cause whatsoever from their participation in any way howsoever in this Contest.

  5. The Organiser is not affiliated with the website and or applications of any social media platforms. Participants must comply with all applicable terms of use of any social media platforms.


  1. By participating in the Contest, participants acknowledge that they have read the Terms and Conditions and agreed to be bound by these terms and conditions.

  2. You consent to the use and disclosure of your personal information for the purpose of receiving invitations and/or marketing communication materials from the Organiser.

  3. You consent to allow the Organiser to freely use pictures of yourself and/or other participants of the Contest for promotional and publicity purposes.

  4. All pictures and contents related to the Contest will be the copyright of the Organiser and may be used in any media (Facebook or other social media platforms, company website(s), newsletters, et cetera) that the Organiser sees fit.

  5. Any personal data of participants and winners processed by the Organiser shall be subject to the notice and terms of the Organiser.
